1747年（乾隆十二年）建成。长春园西湖中筑砌直径近百米的圆式白石崇基，正楼为四面各显五间的四出轩式三层楼阁，外侧对称布置配殿、牌坊、方亭和圆廊，是一处辉煌端庄的建筑景观。1860年圆明园罹劫时，海岳开襟一景因在湖中免遭焚毁，1900年毁于战乱之中。 Built in 1747 (12th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign), in the middle of the West Lake in Chang-chunyuan, this site presented a grand architectural spectacle in the garden. Its round foundation was built of marble with a diameter of nearly 100 meters. The major vista was a three-story building, with symmetrical chambers, archways, square pavilions, and corridors. This sight survived the 1860 fire due to its location in the middle of the lake, but was destroyed in the war chaos of 1900. |
